How It Works

1 - Tell us about your project
Getting started is easy! - simply send us a few basic details about your property and what you would like to achieve.
This could include:
- Property location – A Google Maps link showing the location of your house or building plot.
- Photographs – A few external photographs of your property, particularly the areas where you are considering making changes.
- Your ideas – A brief description of what you would like to do, such as converting a garage into a room, adding a single or two-storey extension, or building a new home.
Don’t worry if you don't have all this information. Just send us what you can, and we'll guide you through anything else we need.

2 - Review & quotation
Once we've received your enquiry, we'll review the information you've provided and consider what may be required to take your project forward.
We'll look at your property, your proposed work, and any relevant planning or building warrant requirements.
If we need any further information, we'll get in touch to discuss your ideas and clarify the details.
We'll then provide you with a clear, fixed-price quotation, explaining the services we can provide and what's included.
As our service is provided entirely online, some projects may be too complex or require a physical site survey. If we feel your project would be better suited to a local professional who can visit your property, we'll let you know at this stage.

3 - Let's get Started
Once you've accepted our quotation and confirmed you'd like to proceed, we'll get started on your project.
We'll review the information available and may ask you to provide additional photographs, measurements or other details to help us prepare accurate drawings.
If anything needs clarification, we'll be happy to discuss your ideas and answer any questions to make sure we fully understand what you're looking to achieve.
We'll then begin preparing the initial draft drawings based on the information you've provided.
Once the plans are ready, we'll send you the draft proposals for your review and feedback. You'll have the opportunity to suggest changes or adjustments before the drawings are finalised.

4 - Submit your applications
Once you've reviewed the initial drawings, we'll make any agreed amendments and work with you to finalise the proposals.
When you're happy with the plans, we'll prepare the necessary drawings and supporting documentation within our agreed scope of services for your planning permission and/or building warrant applications, as required.
We can then assist with submitting the applications to your local council and liaise with the relevant departments throughout the approval process.
If the council requests further information, clarification, or amendments to the drawings, we'll help address these matters and keep you informed of progress.
A few things worth knowing
- Our initial review and quotation are completely free, with no obligation to proceed.
- Some projects may require additional specialist services or supporting information to satisfy planning or building warrant requirements. These can vary depending on the nature of the proposed works and the requirements of your local authority. Although we'll identify likely requirements at the quotation stage, further information may be requested as the design or application progresses. Where additional services or costs are necessary, we'll explain these to you.
- Although our service operates entirely online, we're always happy to provide personal assistance by telephone or video call where additional guidance or clarification would be helpful.
- Our service is designed for projects that can be assessed and managed remotely. Where a physical survey or on-site professional assessment is necessary, we'll advise you accordingly.
- Planning permission and building warrant approvals are determined by the relevant local authority and cannot be guaranteed.
